Managing Director and Founder of Himalayan Roadrunners, Rob lived in Kathmandu for many years after his long time residency in Vermont where he owned and operated a logging company. A diesel mechanic by trade and BSA & Triumph restorer, his love of adventure, mountains and riding, led him to guiding treks and motorcycle expeditions throughout the Himalaya including the first assent by a motorcycle group of Khardung La in Ladakh, the world's highest motorable pass.

Managing our UK office near Ashford in Kent, Ed was brought up near Kendal in the English Lake District. After completeing his basic training with the British Army he opted for a career as a commodity trader which took him in the 80's to London, Hong Kong and Switzerland.
In 1991 he left his job in commodities and set out alone to ride his KTM "Incas" from London to Bangkok. After a brief foray into bar ownership in Kathmandu in the mid 90's he decided to establish North Siam Roadrunners and combine his enjoyment of motorcycling and travelling in South East Asia.
